BIRTHFIT is an empowered, educated state of readiness, specific to childbirth that is achieved through an evolved practice in fitness, nutrition, chiropractic, and mindset. With all the misinformation about exercise and pregnancy having an expert to help you navigate the evidence is critical.
This is a one month birth education series that meets once a week for four weeks, or is done over one weekend referred to as a “ weekend intensive”. We cover birth education and preparation as well as functional movement and mobility. We create birth preferences, learn tools and relaxation methods for birth, what it truly means to be postpartum and create a realistic plan for it, and how to respect this time. This class is simple, efficient, and to the point. This class is definitely for the modern woman (and partner) that does not have time to mess around.
Now that you’ve brought a baby into the world, it’s time to rehab your body, mind & soul. This series is 8, 90 minute long classes over the course of a month where we cover breath work, establishing a connection between you, your new and beautiful postpartum body, your pelvic floor, and functional movement patterns. We learn functional progressions to help correct diastasis recti and strengthen your core, and we learn how to move according to where you are at in your motherhood transition. Most importantly you get to connect with other postpartum mamas, and bond while taking care of yourselves mentally, physically and emotionally.
